Yes, but arguably the poor are getting an accommodation upgrade, where the Rich would not be, so both are better off under the current system! Strangely we cannot get public funding for housing the homeless, unless they break the law, then accommodation and three square meals a day can always be found. Perhaps we should make homelessness against the Law (it used to be illegal to be a vagrant) and lock them up for the Winter, cutting out the need for them to break a window or assault someone in order to find shelter…
