Wikipedia is the most peer-reviewed encyclopedia on Earth. Errors are corrected far quicker than in printed encyclopedias. If I use Medium I can only attach links so your complaint is indeed “being a dick”. Do you seriously doubt that the Arctic is on average zero degrees, the freezing point of water in Summer, and far colder in Winter? There are plenty of sites where you can confirm these facts, so your pseudo-intellectual snobbery about Wikipedia is just that, not a real counter to my argument.
The fact that the Greenland and Antarctic Icecaps are not melting is important because melting sea-ice does not raise the sea level: it already displaces its weight in water. Sorry, I thought that was obvious. Coupled with the fact that the only negative about climate change warming is Sea Level rises, this does prove that “ climate action is not necessary.” Warmer and longer growing seasons, more rain, faster crop growth and expanding grasslands and forest reclaiming the world’s deserts are, in my humble opinion, good things for Humanity and for Nature, and are all documented consequences of recycling the carbon that has been locked away in fossil fuels for far too long.
