Warming and cooling cycles

I think it is you wearing blinkers my friend: The graph in question looks to be about 2000 AD, which is why the CO2 levels are lower than today, but that is a minor detail: The core of your argument is that Global Warming is caused by “human burning of fossil fuels”, so how do you explain the past instances of warming which occurred well before humans started buring fossil fuels?

Ice Ages come and go every 100,000 years +/- 10,000 years. From the graph, it looks like the current warming cycle was overdue: Ice Ages eventually end. On a geological time scale, it is obvious that this is a regular, natural cycle, nothing to do with human activity. If “human burning of fossil fuels” is the cause of the current warming, what caused the previous 4 spikes in global temperature? How do you explain that the current warming appears to follow the same cyclic behaviour as the previous 4?
That is the question you need to answer, not engage in adhominem attacks on my “guessed politics” instead.

That your previous answer completely failed to address my question probably means you can’t answer it. I’m guessing you have no scientific training, while I am University qualified in Chemistry and Physics. My question is a scientific rather than a political one, so I won’t accept slogans as substitutes for data and logic.
The graph indicates that temperatures were 3 degrees warmer 100,000 years ago: deserts shrank, forests expanded and life was prolific: that hardly sounds like a doomsday scenario, but I might buy shares in airconditioning companies!
