This Russian apologist propaganda piece would be funny if were not so sad that some people believe this stuff: It is all nonsense:
"The majority of my contacts also expressed concern at the extreme xenophobia being encouraged against Russians in the West." That isn't xenophobia, it is a grudging acceptance of the brutality of Putin's armed forces. It is not xenophobia to be appalled at the torture, rape and murder of civilians by the russian military when it is verifiably true that this is happening.
Ludicrous spin that Ukraine murdered their own people to generate bad press for Russia isn't just ludicrous: it is desperate.
One thing I can agree with: “Dehumanization of adversary is known to be a prelude to military actions." That's why Putin accused a peaceful country of being Nazis: to dehumanise them before the unprovoked attack! A Nazi country would be unlikely to elect a Jew as President. I would have thought that made Putin's accusation completely unbelievable, yet apparrently 80% of Russian accept his lies as a real justification for attacking their neighbour.
What Russia is doing in Ukraine is unforgivable, and the only Nazis in Ukraine today are the invaders. The Ukrainian Army call the Russian Soldiers Orcs, after the Armies of the Dark Lord Sauron in Lord of the Rings. Savage, cruel, incompetent and cowardly, easily beaten in a fair fight: I can see why the Orc label has been applied to the Russian war criminals.
