“The white working class will never be the engine of socialism in the United States.” Good: an “engine of socialism“ ”is the last thing the United States needs: it may need enforcement of ethical behaviour within the Capitalist system, but it does need Capitalism to thrive, even to survive, as Capitalism is the only economic system that creates new wealth.
