“ The US began shipping out jobs in the 1980s, ended actual welfare aid in the 1990s, lost over 5 million manufacturing jobs alone since 2000, and we struggle to ignore the consequences.”

President Trump is the only Leader since the 1980’s to address the off-shoring of US manufacturing jobs. By increasing Tariffs, pulling out of free trade agreements, reducing the corporate taxes that had driven US companies off-shore and by shaming US Companies into bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US, he is making a real difference. Unemployment is now at the lowest point in 30 years. Both Black and Female unemployment figures are today the lowest they have ever been since measurement began. The way to address poverty is to provide enough well-paid real jobs to lift these poor working class Americans into the middle class. We didn’t get that from Bush, Clinton, Bush or Obama: Trump promised to Make America Great Again, and to bring US jobs back home. He is succeeding, in spite of the efforts of the snakes of the Washington Swamp to bring him down. Reshoring is a new word to describe the process of transferring a business operation that was moved overseas back to the country from which it was originally relocated. Reshoring can help us re-balance our economy, create new jobs and cut our trade deficit, but most importantly if offers real hope to those American poor who were robbed of their future by offshoring and Free Trade which became Unfair Trade. And yet the same people who protested against Globalisation, are protesting against Trump for wanting to scale Globalisation down a bit. Incredible!
