The mission was planned on Obama’s watch, just came to be executed just after Trump took office. The Snafu that followed was neither Trump’s nor Obama’s fault. It was a military operation and it turned into a military screw-up. A man died heroically in the service of his country, and was honoured by his President, regardless of whose fault his death was. In War, sometimes things just go horribly wrong. Good people get killed for no measurable gain.

I have a son in the Air Force, deployed in the Middle East. If he dies over there, I hope I have the grace to accept that this was a risk he accepted when he put on the Uniform, and that I don’t give propaganda support to the enemy by questioning his officers’ tactics and strategy, or even try to blame the elected leader of my Country.

To use this soldier’s death to try to slander the President for political gain shows just how low the Left are prepared to go.
