the Doctor is suing United. The standard response is to undermine the credibility of the testimony of the complainant: criminal convictions certainly cast doubt on his integrity. The problem for United is the video footage of a doctor being assaulted — nothing can justify that and any reasonable Jury would find in his favour. They might recommend a smaller payout for someone who is perceived as not being a “good” person, though.
