The British Empire were not the worst Imperials by a long shot: the French, German and especially the Belgians were far worse. British imperial history is presented in a very jaundiced light by American historians desperate to justify the War Of Independence. The main reason for the American War of Independence was that American Colonists had got wind of a Foreign Office move to cede territory to the remaining Plains Indians and negotiate a peace Treaty whereby Indians swore loyalty to the British Crown in exchange for British Citizenship. That is what this part of the Declaration means:

“He (The British King)has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.” Rather than have Plains Indians declared the equals of white men they went to war against their legitimate government. That Treaty never came to pass because of the War of Independence, but was used a few years later with minor rewrites as the Treaty of Waitangi, which gave British citizenship and land rights to the Maoris of New Zealand. The British Empire was learning ethical behaviour, almost alone among Imperial Powers. It is interesting to consider an alternative history where the Indian States ruled themselves and traded with American States under the British crown. I suspect it would have been a lot better outcome than the Indian Tribes were dealt in our history.

“ The British were much violent, barbaric and cannibalistic by perpetrating genocides, ethnic cleansing of thousands of indigenous tribes and aboriginal communities across the world commanded by British monarchy along with lives lost in 100’s of millions.” As far as I know the British never ate the inhabitants of their Colonies: the only cases of cannibalism were of the British, by the natives. And if you are going to accuse the British of ethnic cleansing and genocide, it is well to remember that it wasn’t the British who wiped out the Amerind Tribes of America, it was the Americans!

And we should give them credit for agreeing with Mahatma Gandhi and giving India (The Jewel in the Crown of Empire) back to the Indians. America was the only colony to fight for Independence, all the others were granted Independence freely. America would have been an independent member of the British Commonwealth, like Canada, if the War of Independence had not been fought but then those Redskins would have been voting citizens and the Americans were never going to stand for that.
