“That’s “softening up the target.” Be aware of when the media tries to do it. Any story where the media pushes you to make an inference about someone or something: that’s them trying to soften you up to get you ready to believe some future story or narrative.” That is the manufactured rumours reported as fact while the printing of actual accusations is the invasion of your mental space.

Given the Steele dossier, it is far more likely the DNC were colluding with Russia, but look how eagerly the news media repeated the lies in “Fire and Fury” as facts.

Look how they have portrayed Trump as anti-semitic when half his family are Jewish, and he is regarded as a Hero in Israel.

Trump is a businessman, learning politics on the fly, and he is a quick study: look how much he got done in the second half of his first year. Yet he is portrayed as stupid/mad/senile and the media get way with this ridiculous narrative: who holds them to account?
