That turns out not be the case: I guess a “civil code violation” might be what you call a misdemeanor, but it is still a crime, just not a felony. Repeat offenses are a felony.

Illegal Immigration is a Crime. Each year the Border Patrol apprehends hundreds of thousands of aliens who flagrantly violate our nation’s laws by unlawfully crossing U.S. borders. Such illegal entry is a misdemeanor, and, if repeated after being deported, becomes punishable as a felony.

And “Under the imminent lawless action test, speech is not protected by the First Amendment if the speaker intends to incite a violation of the law that is both imminent and likely.” Inciting people to hide illegal aliens from the Police and DHS would be inciting a violation of the law.
