The US is number 11 for Mass Shootings.

Many of the countries with higher death rates that the US have quite restrictive gun control laws that make it hard and expensive for honest people to own guns legally. The killers and the criminals just buy them on the black market. The idea that the US has more mass shootings than other countries is a lie, and it is mass shootings we are discussing, not homicide in general.

It is clear from the statistics that while gun control might reduce homicides and especially suicides, it will be completely ineffective against Mass Shootings.
