“ Other than that you could go into “academia” and continue to turn bright, intelligent young people into unthinking slogan-chanting automatons. They will emerge from colleges completely unskilled, emotionally stunted and logically illiterate. But they will be well versed in all the politically correct group think. And they will believe in it with the absolute faith of any brainwashed cultist.”

I think you have just explained why so many people think “Climate Change” is the greatest threat to humanity since the Black Death. I tried to explain to one of these cultists that a temperature rise of just over half of one degree is not going to melt the Polar Ice Caps, which remain at average temperatures of -10°C (Greenland) and -30°C (Antarctica) respectively, well below the freezing point of water. He just parroted ad-hominem insults, and accused me of being in the pay of Exxon-Mobil. I could not get him to think with his own brain, and reason through the logic behind the slogans.

I think the greatest moral challenge of our times is political correctness, and the loss of freedoms that go with it.
