Yes, these cases are exactly the same. If you have never knowingly done anything sexist or racist there is nothing to apologise for. You are not responsible for the crimes of your ancestors, only for what you yourself have done in your own lifetime. Specifically there is nothing wrong with being White and Male, and you shouldn’t apologise for these accidents of birth. I find your virtue-signalling demeaning and unjustified, and “knowingly or not” is the worst kind of pseudo-guilt, white privilege, male privilege bullshit that has so many white males in a permanent “mea culpa” for things they have never done.

Treat people as people, lose the male & female, black & white labels and the guilt that goes with them, and get yourself a life.
