Not all: Zimbabwe destroyed its economy by a combination of Socialism, corruption and cronyism. Sudan is the result of tribal and religious civil war. I could go on, but I agree that some of these countries have been disrupted by invasions and interventions. All of them have very poor standards of governance so would not be healthy democracies or civil societies anyway.

Libertarians proposing no Governments and no Laws, are essentially proposing anarchy, where your security is only what you and your friends can impose on your surroundings. A cross between the Wild West and a Mafia is what I would expect this to resemble. Chaos is more fun in a philosophical debate than in real life. The Spaniards used to have a blessing: “Let no new thing arise!” I think this applies to the Nation-State: better to repair it than to do without it: the “new thing” won’t be pretty.
