Nearly everything you say on Trump is wrong. First of all, I am clearly better educated that you are: consider your own testimony. So, in your superior education system, you had a bad education in spite of having “intelligent parents”? And apparently this happened in the UK? Sad.

Read “The Art of the Deal” to see what Trump is trying to do:

  1. Stop NATO free riding on US military spending: that needed to be addressed, whether it offends the politically correct EU elites or not. They will increase their military budgets in response to Trump’s ultimatums. Nothing else has ever worked with Europe.
  2. In Helsinki, Trump tried to ease tension between Russia and the West by trying to find common ground with President Putin. So looking for compromise that might avoid War is an act of stupidity? “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”
  3. Turning your back on the Queen is a breach of British Royal protocol, which is not binding on a foreign Head of State. It plays well in the USA where the appalling education system teaches that the British were an Imperial power oppressing Americans before the War of Independence, and are still ruled by a hereditary, unelected monarchy: an insult to America’s worship of Democracy! I happen to agree with you on this one; the Monarchy is far less divisive than the 4 year cycle of hatred we call the US Presidential Elections. Royals unite, Presidents divide; however what Trump did was good politics back in America,
  4. Trump answered a question about Boris Johnson honestly rather than lying politely as diplomats are trained to do; naturally the over-polite British were appalled at the rudeness of a US President telling the truth: They haven’t had that since Ronald Reagan! I find it refreshing to hear a politician saying exactly what he thinks. Maybe British politicians could learn something from Trump rather than raise their Indignation Shields to stop the honesty shooting holes in their pomposity!

I hope this helps clear things up for you. I was born and educated in New Zealand by the way, but have worked in the USA and admire the American people. Once again you are wrong on the assumptions you presented as facts.

But then you’re British with “a bad education”, so presumably you haven’t understood a word of this. Good luck.
