Interesting that the Europeans and the Chinese call Trump’s Trade policy a Trade War, when all he is proposing is to set Tariffs on imports into the US at the same rate as the trading partner imposes tariffs on US imports into their country. That’s not War; it is a proportionate response to unfair trading practices that had bled America white for decades. Trade War is a more accurate term when used to describe how Europe charges 12.5% and China charges 25% on US Automobile imports, while USA charges only 2.5% on European and Chinese car imports. Fair Trade requires a level playing field, but asking for that is so unusual for an American President that it is called a Trade War. It is good to have a President who knows how to call a spade a spade!
