I’m not sure whether this is intended as comedy, but I had to laugh at this piece of twisted semantics: “ I never thought that the president of the United States could get upstaged by the leader of North Korea. When North Korea announced yesterday that they’re joining the climate agreement, my first sense is what a disappointment for America in leadership in the world.”
I laughed out loud. You will never see the president of the United States get upstaged by the leader of North Korea: the fact that this nut-job Dictator joined the Paris Accord just goes to show how wise Trump was to reject the poisoned chalice offered in Paris. I know it is non-binding, but it is symbolic: why would America sign up to a deal that cripples its own industry while encouraging China to increase CO2 output by any amount until 2030?
I note that since 2001, the USA has reduced CO2 emissions from 25% of the world’s emissions to 15% today. China has increased its emissions from 15% to 30% of Global emissions, yet you vilify Trump, while praising China? That makes no sense at all, and nor does the Paris non-agreement. Trump should not only pull out of the Paris Accord, he should defund all Climate “research” and abatement fees paid domestically and to the UN.
Climate Change exists, but not as the over-hyped apocalypse the UN has been peddling in the hopes of forming a consensus for World Hegemony through the International Bureaucracy of the Carbon Market. Trump will go down in history as the President who pointed out that the Climate Change Emporer has no clothes. He has arguably saved American Capitalism, the greatest engine for wealth and freedom on the planet from being hijacked by international Socialism.
Thanks for the comedic relief. By the way Trump didn’t need to “make Ronald Reagan look like Abraham Lincoln”: Ronald Reagan did that all by himself.
