If you could summarize 2017 in a single word, what would it be?

FakeNews?

Polarised?

Outraged?

Trump?

A single word, is a bit hard to pick out. We have seen America and the World more polarised than ever: Left against Right, Pro-Trump against Anti-Trump (what used to be pro-Hillary, until that died a death), Freedom against Political Correctness, and no middle ground.

Both sides are outraged against the other: “it is my right to be agreed with!”

Fake News is seized upon if it supports your prejudices, ignored otherwise.

2017 is all about Donald Trump — love him or hate him, he’s making a difference, and changing the way America is seen in the World.

Recognition of Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel is only common sense, but common sense is so rare these days that it is the most hated thing for the Left. “How dare Trump state the self-evident obvious truth, exposing the pathetic politically correct lies we have been telling each other for decades? How dare he make the Left-Wing propaganda look so empty and stupid?”

“How dare he honor an Election promise? Politicians NEVER do that!”

He has turned the political elites’ consensus beliefs on their head, and dared to call them lies. It comes as a surprise to most citizens how many lies they have been sold, and have come to believe as “accepted fact”. It is disturbing when Trump cries “Bullshit!” and exposes the lies. Fake News, Fake Beliefs, Fake Truths: the Left relies on its Fake Agenda being believed as Holy Writ.

What will they do now?
