“I do sincerely hope, Svetlana had exported a copy of her contents before this issue and able to republish some of her original posts elsewhere.”
I don’t think so, but thanks for prompting me to do so. You can’t just export all your posts to the cloud, you would need to save each post as a separate html page. But go to settings and scroll down to “Export Content”
When you click on download zip, a page opens:
Export your content
You can request a .zip file containing HTML files of your Medium posts and drafts.
We’ll email you at al.Black52@yahoo.com.au with a link to the .zip file when it’s ready. The link will be available for 24 hours after you receive the email. If you wish to use a different email address, you may change it on the settings page.
By initiating the process to receive these files you are representing that you have all necessary rights and permissions to receive the content included in the file.
Click on Export to request the zipped html file.
Thanks again: I had been working on the assumption that my work is on the Cloud, so I don’t need a backup. Clearly I do.
