Fitting catalytic Converters and Particulate filters to the smokestacks of China’s coal-fired Power stations would be a good idea, too. Growing more trees does not necessarily improve China’s pollution problem which is all about particulates: soot, ash and smoke particles in the air. Trees will bind CO2 and release more Oxygen, but only filters will reduce particulates.
