Cane Toads have done far less environmental damage than “pet” cats and dogs in Australia. Almost all native extinctions were not caused by humanity, but by the “pet” killing machines we brought with us. Every house cat let out at night kills on average 7 native animals or birds each day.

Having said that, the Cane Toads weren’t a great idea either…
