“Bill Gates is planning to strip CO2 from the air and turn it into clean fuel”

Trees and plants including Sugar Cane already do this: Wood is clean fuel because it releases the same carbon it bound up in the first place, and sugar can be used to make ethanol which can be used to fuel cars, ships and Air-planes. Air to fuel just does the same thing, and at the end, releases the Carbon back into the Carbon Cycle, the original circle of life.

Neither approach will permanently reduce the CO2 concentration, so it is not a fix for Global Warming. But the Maunder Minimum due shortly is:

Maybe we should be increasing Carbon emissions to protect us from Global Cooling?
